This course is an overview of many of the issues that we see in students with Asperger Syndrome. This course will provide you with information related to diagnosis and the issues we see in the key features of Asperger Syndrome. These features include:
areas of social interaction, language, restricted interests, dealing with change, motor involvement,
cognitive issues, sensory processing, emotional vulnerability and the gifts of Asperger Syndrome.
In addition, you will review some intervention strategies and accommodations that may be needed in schools, including
tools to help organize the school day.
